98. The Proof     

 

69th un-initialed sura, 71st un-initialed revealed, 100th revealed overall

 

In the name of God, the All Gracious, the All Merciful

 

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

       لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنْفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

Those who disbelieved from amongst the People of the Scripture and those who set up partners for god did not deviate until the proof was presented to them.

                        رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً

A messenger from God2691 is reciting sacred scrolls.

                                          فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ

Therein are eternal laws.

   وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَبَ إِلا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

And those from the People of the Scripture did not dispute except when they received the proof.

     وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلوةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَوةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ

And they were only commanded to worship God2692, devoting the religion purely to Him in a monotheistic manner and to observe the contact prayer and give the cleansing charity. And this is the eternal religion.

  إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَلِدِينَ فِيهَا أُولَئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ

Indeed, those who disbelieved from amongst the People of the Scripture and those who set up partners for god will be in the Hellfire eternally. They are the worst creatures.

 إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّلِحَتِ أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ

Indeed those who believed and led a righteous life, they are the best creatures.

 جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ خَلِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ

Their reward at their Lord is the Original Gardens with flowing streams beneath them, wherein they abide forever.  God2693 will be pleased with them and they will be pleased with Him. Such is the one who fears his Lord.
